Many of the manufacturers of
large prairie tractors were in financial trouble after World War I and
there were many closures or mergers. Many of these companies downsized
their tractor lines and survived for a few more years. One of these companies
was The Eagle Company of Appleton WI. They stayed in business up through
the later 30's. This tractor was an example of this downsizing from those
larger prairie tractors and is a beautiful restoration. Roger works and
shows this tractor throughout Michigan and Northern Indiana in the summer
and fall.
